TINGOG Program

Tingog is Bikolnon's voice. It is a training and advocacy program which provides space for the voice of the people of Bikol to be heard and to resonate with their aspirations. Tingog has 2 sub-programs as follows:

1. HUNGLONAN : Hunglonan means mutual assistance in production or social activities. A hunglonan activity is an occasion for socialization, dialogue, and familial and community bonding. As a program, it is a training and advocacy for good governance. Along this line, the University has initiated the:
   • Participatory Legislative Research
   • Citizen's Legislative Action and Sectoral Parliament (CLASP)
   • Participatory Coastal Resource Management Planning
   • Electoral Intervention for Good Governance
   • Bongkaras Albay
2. DAGOS : Dagos is welcome in Bikol. From it can be derived an invitation -- to come and see the world from the perspective of the poor. A human resource enhancement program of the AQ Foundation, it has the following engagements:
   • Rapu-Rapu Community Extension Project
   • Albay Electric Cooperative Rehabilitation & Power Sector Reform and Development
   • Agrarian Reform and National Industrialization Advocacy
   • Governance and Anti-Graft Campaign
