AUL offers scholarship grants for first year college applicants

With the opening of selected first year college programs come school year 2017-2018, Aquinas University of Legazpi (AUL) offers scholarship grants to interested applicants.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) offers scholarships for so-called Lifelong Learners, which aim to give financial assistance to students who graduated in the old curriculum who will pursue higher education during the K to 12 transition phase. The Lifelong Learner Track may only be availed by students of selected HEIs, such as AUL.

For in-house grants, AUL opens the St. Pius Scholarship. The said grant is exclusive only to 15 qualified Teacher Education applicants (Bachelor of Secondary Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education) who are already grantees of CHEd Lifelong Learner scholarships. Grantees will also have employment opportunity in the university after graduating and passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

Other in-house scholarships are also available, such as Academic Scholarship, Arts Scholarship, Sports Scholarship, Student Assistantship program, and Employee's Discount (for dependents of AUL employees).

The said grants are open to interested applicants, whether they may be High School graduates(before the implementation of the K to 12 curriculum), returnees, shifters, transferees, or new students.

Applicants need to take the Aquinas University College Admission Test on APRIL 28, 2017 (Friday).
