UST-Legazpi recognized as sustainable and eco-friendly school in Region V

In line with the vision of the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi (UST-Legazpi) to be a center for environmental protection, the university is recognized as the most sustainable and eco-friendly school in the Bicol Region.

UST-Legazpi topped the Regional Search for Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Schools conducted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau V (DENR-EMB V).

With the theme “Empowering the Youth for a Clean and Green ASEAN Community”, the search for environment-friendly schools is a response to the campaign for massive environmental awareness.
