UST-Legazpi mobilizes stakeholders for OPLAN Balik Eswela

The Office of Student Services (OSS) of the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi (UST-Legazpi) mobilized different stakeholders of the educational community to address the queries and concerns of Legazpi Thomasians during the OPLAN Balik Eskwela (OBE) on June 29, 2018, at the Daragang Magayon Hall (DMH).

Some 560 students from the basic education and tertiary levels participated in the conduct of the OBE. OSS invited different stakeholders to be part of the activity. Legazpi City Chief of Police P/Supt. Nilo S. Berdin, Jr. graced the OBE as one of the resource speakers. He discussed the Peace and Order Program and the Anti-Drug Campaign of the City. Legazpi City Mayor Noel E. Rosal manifested his support for the university during his inspirational message in the symposium. Edherlyn A. Auditor, assistant director of the Physical Plant and Facilities Management Office (PPFMO), enlightened the participants about the schoolís Waste Segregation Program. OSS Director Jesus A. Barizo, a certified security personnel, oriented the students about the safety and security policies, entry and exit procedures, and disaster drills being observed by UST-Legazpi.

Through the OBE, UST-Legazpi aims to ensure that all students are properly oriented about the university guidelines and policies for a hassle-free start of the academic year.
