CBMA reigns supreme in the Battle of Olympus

4th year BA Communication student, Beatrice D. Tuazon, portrays the role as Athena during the synchronized dancing.

College departments clashed as Greek gods and goddesses in the Battle of Olympus (Intramurals 2018) organized by the Center for Sports, Wellness, Culture and the Arts (CSWCA) in partnership with the Supreme Student Council (SSC) on September 19-21, 2018.

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) as Athena, College of Business Management and Accountancy (CBMA) as Hermes, College of Engineering, Architecture, and Fine Arts (CEAFA) as Hephaestus and College of Health Sciences as Apollo showcased their sportsmanship during the three-day event.

With 960 points CBMA reigned supreme among the colleges dethroning the two-year champion CEAFA which got 805 points. CHS earned 670 points while CASE earned 610 points.

Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2018 both came from CHS as Dwight Martin Camacho and Janine Sophia Ella Aquino bagged the titles respectively. Jester Peralta (CEAFA) and Katrina Claudia Jamin (CASE) earned the 1st runner-up spot, Joshua Repuya (CASE) and Angelika Orobia (CBMA) as 2nd runner-up, and King David Galang (CBMA) and Irish Anne Tambogon (CEAFA) as 3rd runner-up in the pageant.

Meanwhile, CASE dominated the synchronized dancing for the second year. CBMA placed first, CHS second, and the 3rd runner-up was CEAFA.
