INGGO 1587 fires up UST-Legazpi's U-Week celebration

With more than 2,000 attendees, the Inggo 1587 Worship Concert jump-started the UST-Legazpi's celebration of its University Week on January 25, 2019, at UST-Legazpi Dome. The U-Week formally commenced with a Eucharistic celebration in the morning in which a new image of St. Thomas Aquinas was blessed. In the afternoon, the worship concert vivified the Legazpi Thomasian community with the Inggo 1587's spiritually uplifting songs from their award-winning album "Lead Me On" (2018 CMMA Best Inspirational Album). The worship concert of Inggo, which was greatly appreciated by the Legazpi Thomasian community, served also as the opening salvo of Adonai 2019 where around 900 participants from all Dominican schools in the Bicol region gathered together. Hence, the worship concert became an avenue for the Dominican Network (Domnet) Youth Group in the region to praise God and nurture their Dominican identity as preachers. Three bands coming from Domnet Bicol Cluster (Terpits, Knights of Columbus, and Colegio del Santisimo Rosario Band) performed also in the concert with their prayerful songs. After Inggo 1587's fascinating performance flavored with their preaching through songs, Fr. Felix C. Legaspi III, OP, the Vice President for Religious Affairs, thanked all the people who participated and supported this event. The worship concert was facilitated by the Center for Campus Ministry of UST-Legazpi.
