HRMO leads briefing of new, returnee employees

The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) spearheaded the in-house orientation seminar Sumpay 2012, June 8, at the Media Center Hall.

The half-day seminar was aimed at acquainting new employees with the University's vision and mission, goals, policies, and programs; and to foster a strong sense of awareness and commitment to the ideals of the University, among others.

Topics discussed in the activity included Roles and Functions of Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel; Code of Ethics; Personnel Standards and Procedure; Terms and Conditions; Performance Appraisal, Career Development and Training; and Union Programs and Policies.

The University has 43 new and returnee employees from the pre-school to college departments as of June 2012.
