Two AUL students top Civil Service exams

Aquinas University of Legazpi (AUL) College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) students Aaron Marc Dimaano and Roger Abitria IV are among the top finishers in the recently concluded Civil Service Professional level exams of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Dimaano ranked second in the Bicol Region and fifth in the National Level with a rating of 87.99%.

Abitria IV, meanwhile, ranked fourth in Region V with a rating of 86.51%.

Dimaano is a third year Political Science student of CASE. Abitria is in third year taking up AB English.

The two students are founding members of the AUL Debate Society. Abitria is the Editor-in-Chief of the student publication The Phoenix.

Some 14,063 examinees out of 122, 824 passed the Civil Service Professional examination conducted by the CSC on May 27, 2012, with a passing rate of 11.45%. The results were released this August.
